Oromia Human Rights Monitor (oromiahrm.org) is committed to making this website accessible to the widest possible audience, including people with disabilities.

Our commitment

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, and to support the goals of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act.

Measures we take

  • Semantic HTML structure and descriptive text alternatives for images.
  • A keyboard-navigable interface with visible focus styles.
  • Sufficient color contrast and responsive, resizable text.
  • Multilingual content (English, with Amharic, Afan Oromo, and Tigrinya translations).

Known limitations

Some content is user-submitted (for example, attached evidence) and may not fully meet accessibility standards. We work to identify and remediate barriers as we find them.
