Detention by police in Sasiga, East Wollega (18 May 2025)

Two Christian church leaders, one a youth, were detained in Sasiga district, East Wallega, on 18 May, accused of links to OLA, ‘on behalf of their brothers in the forest.’ When the youth’s other brother, recently married, visited him in Sasiga district police station on 19 May, he too was detained.
