A soldier defecting from ENDF to OLA, 20 April, ONM Punishment for obstructing the conscription process commonly includes severe beating and detention. Killings have also been reported. Three young detained forced conscripts were shot dead and two others were wounded in Gadab Hasaasa district, West Arsi, on 26 April, when they attempted to escape.
