Killing by government forces in East Shewa (12 Apr 2025)

On 12 April government soldiers shot and killed Hawas Bulgaa (also known as Abbaa Gannoo) a resident of Dirra Sadeen village in Fantalee district and father of two sons. He was summarily killed while on his way home from work, leaving his family in poverty. He was reported to have been politically neutral, and known to be skilled at mediation and reconciliation.
