ONM reported that a trader from Abaku Ano village, Ilu Galan district, West Showa, Addunya Yaadasa, was ambushed by government militia on his way to Wadeyi Giranche on 10 March, ‘held at gunpoint, tortured for hours and shot dead.’ Burtukan Gudata, a young girl aged 18, from Bosat district, East Showa, was detained, subjected to repeated sexual violence, then executed on 13 March.
