Dawit Bekena (pictured below) worked in Bole, Finfinnee, and lived in Burayu, west of the city in Oromia Special Zone. He was detained for six days in the 2nd Police Station in Burayu before being killed, while still in police custody, on 9 March, leaving his wife and four children without support (W1).
