During heavy bombardment of Coqorsa Funyan Sullee village in Artuma Furse district, Oromia Special Zone, 15 year-old Foziya Ami was killed on 8 March. Fano militants continued targeting the area, preventing her family from retrieving her body and injuring several cattle owners. A few days previously, on 3 March, they abducted a mentally ill Oromo from a nearby town, since when he has disappeared. Beatings of civilians by government militia were reported by ONM. On 8 March, Mame Mahamad Sayidu, in Golboo Arbaa, Oromia Special Zone, was falsely accused of owning a firearm.
