Government forces burnt homes and looted grain and cattle in Salale district, North Showa, on 9 January. In a single village, Menketa Wario Gombore, the following losses were reported (W1): Gedefa Bahiru – 2 buildings burnt, 3 cattle stolen Boshe Bahiru – 2 buildings burnt, 7 cattle stolen Bogale Boshe – dwelling burnt, 200 kg maize stolen Abaye Imime – dwelling burnt, 300 kg maize stolen Abitu Girma – dwelling burnt, 1100 kg maize stolen On 8 February, three homes in Abuna Gindeberet, West Showa, were razed to the ground by government forces (W1).
