In September 2024, local militia fired on four motorcycle riders in Boku Luboma, Miyo district, Borana, killing one and injuring two others, after they had refused to pay a 50 birr checkpoint fee. Uda Bada Shura (right), Nuruu village, Goro Dola district, Guji, was killed by government forces on 16 November 2024 (W2).
