In the same report, Habtamu Ayana gave details the killing of three men by Fano militants in nearby Arro village in Kiramu district on 5 June at around 9.00 am. His brother Bersissa Ayana, a 35 year-old teacher of art and design at Kiramu Preparatory School (named Ayana Assefa by OSG informant W1), Gizachew Feyisa, a 45 year-old government employee (Getachew Abdisa, another teacher according to W1) and Jaldu Galata, a 26 year-old motorcycle driver were stopped and shot dead by Fano militants when travelling through the village. Bersissa was forced to transfer 31,400 Birr to one assailant’s account before he and the other two were killed.
