Waaqeffannaa followers in Begi district are now fearful. W.1 believes the atrocity was encouraged by local government to terrorise the population and reduce support for OLA. Human Rights Defenders report: Killings, arrests, other abuses West Wallega Human Rights Defenders reported the following 17 extrajudicial killings in their latest report which was sent to OSG on 9 February.
