OCHA in its 1 December Situation Report, stated that over 61,000 were displaced by ongoing violence in eight districts of North Showa according to an assessment 19-26 November, which reported 4860 burnt out shelters, 53 damaged health posts, 12 disabled ambulances and 205 damaged schools, putting 47000 children out of school.
