Mass house demolitions and forced evictions by Sheger City administration

Following complaints, EHRC monitored house demolitions and forced evictions by the newly formed Sheger City administration from 6 March 2023. Homes were demolished, including some with title documents and court injunctions, without adequate notice, alternative land or compensation, worsening homelessness.
