63 people killed by Fano in Agamsa, Horo Guduru Wollega (30 Aug 2022)

The Borkena article stated that Fano members had pillaged Agamsa town. Agamsa was the site of a previous massacre by Fano, when at least 63 Oromo were killed on 30 August 2022. A misleading report from the Amhara Association of America claimed the victims were Amhara citizens killed by OLA but a detailed report by residents of the town demonstrated the culpability of Amhara Fano militia. The second recent major Fano attack was on a crowd gathered for a football tournament at which twelve district teams were playing in Hanger Gutin (a town and valley in Gida Ayana district), East Wallega, on 24 July.
