A meticulously detailed report of the Agamsa massacre was completed in October by Agamsa residents and their relatives in response to disinformation from the Amhara Association of America. In all, 12 (10 Amhara, 2 Oromo) were killed by government troops masquerading as OLA on 29 August and 105 Oromo were killed by heavily-armed Fano and Amhara militia the next day or died later from wounds. 62 of those killed were named in the report, including 88 year-old Awaqe Jalata and 97 year-old Zalalam Temesgen, who was ‘burned in his home’.
