There were 28 ONM reports of detention from May to July, 23 of which were in June. W1 sent three reports which referred only to detentions; on 15 July, 17 and 28 August. The ONM reports included arrests in Gimbi, Homa, Lalo Asebi, Guliso, Lata Sibu, Qilxu Kara, Mana Sibu, Boji Birmaji, Aira, Begi, Nejo and Boji Cokorsa districts of West Wallega (12 out of the zone’s 19 districts), Dale Sadi, Dembi Dollo, Gawo Qebe and Lalo Kile districts of Qellem, Hurumu district and Metu town in Illubabor and the districts of Deedoo in Jimma and Mako in Buno Bedele zones.
