Abduction / extortion / forced conscription by government forces in East Shewa (29 Jun 2026)

Forced conscription was reported on 29 June to have taken place in Bosat district. Federal soldiers and party cadres surrounded secondary schools in Bofaa and Boolee towns and forcibly removed students who had just completed their final classes for the year and prevented them from returning to their homes.
