On 27 June, ONM reported that a notorious local militia chief, Yaadasaa Haroo, who had executed an innocent youth, Kumaa Efireem Abdiisaa ‘in broad daylight’ in Mandi town, West Wallega, was temporarily removed from his post while under investigation for the killing. He was reinstated just prior to the report.
