In the first week of June, the homes of three women in Hidhabu Abote district were burned down by government forces who claimed the women had family members in OLA (ONM). ONM reported that in late June homes in Hamdaa Weezaroo kebele, Sululta district (which is also described as being in the Oromia Special Zone around Finfinnee and Shaggar city), were destroyed by government soldiers because their owners were suspected of providing food to OLA members. Many thatched and zinc-roofed homes and their contents were burned to the ground including those belonging to Tashoomaa Hordofaa, Ayyaanee Baay’isa, and Girmaa Hordofaa.
