Widespread arrests have continued throughout western Oromia in response to the support for OLA among the civilian population. Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed was quoted by ONM on 13 June as having threatened to ‘drive out the guerilla fighters and grab the farmers by the throat’ in reference to OLA’s support base.
