Government forces beat and evicted Oromo residents from their land in Wayu Tuqa district, East Wallega, and began settling Amhara migrants on their choice farmland in Miinyaa Kuraa kebele on 9 June. Oromo farmers were branded OLA collaborators and charged extortionate amounts to recover their seized cattle (ONM).
