On 7 June, government militia took over the community hall in Shala district, West Arsi, ‘holding meetings and threatening locals.’ On the same day at Afarsoo in the Faraqsaa kebele in Marti district, Arsi, Sulxii Arabaa was accused of holding weapons, robbed of 800.000 birr and his shop was looted (ONM).
