Detention by government militia in Jimma Arjo, East Wollega (4 Jun 2026)

On 4 June, Takilee Fiixaa, a high-ranking Prosperity Party official in Jimma Arjo district was detained by colleagues in kebele 02, charged with supporting OLA. Two days later, ten Prosperity Party militia members in Nunnu Qumba district were detained because they challenged the party’s actions and were branded as OLA supporters.
