Abduction / extortion / forced conscription by government forces in Gimbi, West Wollega (22 May 2026)

On 22 May, soldiers abducted a girl on her way home from school in Warqa Waddeessaa kebele, Gimbi district. The 4th grade student was named by ONM. She was taken to a military camp where she was married against her will to a ‘Prosperity Party militant.’
