Most of the reports were of small numbers of people named by ONM (two by W1) but some were of large numbers; for example, hundreds of young men taken from the streets of Nekemte city who had been detained without charge for 8-9 months by 22 May; more than 100 in Jimma Arjo district in June, large numbers, including a youth, Bal’ina Sixoota, and a young woman, Tsaayee Daggafaa, taken during a sweep of civilians in Oda Gudina kebele, Digga district on 26 May ‘without a legal cause;’ and ‘a large number’ detained in Guto Gida district in May, including eight named by ONM.
