Farmers, heads of dependent families, have been forced to undergo training for local militia, for example Alamu Danse, Wayesa Dago, Eba Etafa, and Duguma Hamba taken from Cisa Boro, Yubda district, and Molatu Fikiru and Jote Wayu from Mana Sibu district, West Wallega, on 17 May (W1). Father of four, Gaali Abbaa Diggaa, was taken by force from Meexi Fallee, Saqa Coqorsa district, Jimma, for militia training on 31 March (ONM). Counterintuitively, families which are suspected of supporting OLA are targeted for conscription.
