Somali regional Liyu police kill five farmers and burn about 50 homes in Chinaksen district

On 23 and 24 May 2018, the Somali regional state's Liyu police attacked four neighbourhoods in Chinaksen district, killing five farmers and burning down around 50 homes; residents fled. The same week the unit burned 48 homes of Oromo families living in Somali region, who fled to Kiro in Oromia.
