Humanitarian access in Guji, Oromia deteriorating, armed groups occupy number of health centers: UN

A newly released report by the UNOCHA sheds light on the little reported armed violence in Guji zone of Oromia regional state. According to the report the humanitarian access situation in the area continues to deteriorate as a result of an increase in violence which has significantly restricted partners’ movements and operations. Few partners remain operational in the area, and several have pulled out due to budget constraints and other factors.
