Amanuel Wondimu's father and over a dozen mourners arrested in Dembi Dollo

In the weeks after Amanuel's execution, Oromia security forces arrested over a dozen people gathered at the family home to mourn, including his father, and warned residents not to visit. Most were released, but his father remained detained when HRW reported in June 2021.
