ONM reported the theft also of money in some incidents. In Siifaa Battee village, Bosat district, 10,000 birr was taken from a mother of two on 15 September. More than 55,000 birr and the contents of whole shops were taken from Agamsa Roggichaa village, Liban Cuqulaa district, on 17 September (ONM). At least seven villagers were abducted and detained. At Ethiopian New Year, the government party village leader of Gidara village, Waqo Darge, detained local militia members and took 15 cows from the villagers. These were slaughtered in the New Year celebrations (ONM).
