Killing by government forces in Dugda, East Shewa (1 Jun 2025)

On 1 June, a young man, Badhaanee Bulaa, was shot dead by government forces as he entered his home in Walda Qal'ina village, Dugda district. His body was left for wild animals. It was reported on 6 June that Fayisaa Hajii Leencoo, a young detainee in Maqi town, was taken from prison during the previous week and shot dead.
